Help! Help! I'm Being Repressed!
Serfs lived difficult lives. They worked long, hard days and were responsible for maintaining the lord's fields and and performing other jobs for noble families. In addition, they had their own field and crops to look after. Unlike this unruly peasant in Monty Python and the Holy Grail, most serfs would not dare speak to someone of higher stature in this way. They depended on their lords and manors for survival. However, it is hilarious and one can't help to agree with Dennis the peasant. Enjoy!
